## Sec. 3-143. Liability for injury to or destruction of an animal at large

Prince George's County, Md., Code § 3-143 (2026)

Any person who subdues or takes custody of or destroys any animal shall not be liable for any damages if the animal is found to be at large or running at large at the time of destruction and is in the act of pursuing, attacking, or wounding a human or another animal, whether or not such other animal is properly licensed as required by this Subtitle.
