## Sec. 4-272. EV parking required—Multifamily dwellings

Prince George's County, Md., Code § 4-272 (2026)

(a) Applicability.

  (1) This section applies only to new construction and Level 3 alterations of buildings containing four or more dwelling units that have three (3) or more parking spaces.

  (2) This section does not apply to multifamily building permit applications submitted prior to January 1, 2027.

(b) Make Ready Standards—Multifamily Dwellings. Multifamily dwellings subject to this section shall provide sufficient electrical vehicle infrastructure to support:

  (1) Ten percent (10%) of parking spaces to be EV-Ready Parking Spaces,

  (2) All EVSE-Installed spaces required under the Zoning Ordinance of Prince George's County, Maryland.
