Sec. 5-241. Penalty

Any person may be liable for a civil fine as provided for in Subtitle 28 for a violation of the provisions of this Division. If the violation is of a continuing nature, each and every day during which the violation continues is a separate violation.

Any person or corporation who violates or fails to comply with any provision of this Division or who makes any false statement in connection therewith or who gives false identification shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to a fine not exceeding One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) or imprisonment not exceeding six (6) months, or both such fine and imprisonment.
