## Title 20. Frederick County

### Subtitle 18. Renewal of Licenses

#### Section 20-1801

(a) The following sections of Title 4, Subtitle 4 ("Renewal of Local Licenses") of Division I of this article apply in the county without exception or variation:

  (1) Sec. 4-402 ("Eligibility for renewal; process");

  (2) Sec. 4-403 ("Renewal application");

  (3) Sec. 4-405 ("Contents of renewal application");

  (4) Sec. 4-406 ("Protests");

  (5) Sec. 4-407 ("Denial of renewal application");

  (6) Sec. 4-409 ("Multiple licenses"); and

  (7) Sec. 4-410 ("Chain store, supermarket, or discount house").

(b) The following sections of Title 4, Subtitle 4 ("Renewal of Local Licenses") of Division I of this article do not apply in the county:

  (1) Sec. 4-404 ("Filing period for renewal application"), which is superseded by Sec. 20-1803 of this subtitle; and

  (2) Sec. 4-408 ("Issuance of renewed licenses"), which is superseded by Sec. 20-1804 of this subtitle.

#### Section 20-1802

The requirement for a criminal history records check under Sec. 4-107 of this article does not apply to applicants for license renewal.

#### Section 20-1803

An application to renew an annual license shall be filed between January 1 and April 15, inclusive.

#### Section 20-1804

(a) The Board may issue renewed licenses for the following license year between January 1 and May 1, inclusive.

(b) All renewed licenses shall be dated May 1.

(c) If an expiring license is subject to an order of restriction or suspension, the Board shall issue the corresponding license renewal subject to the same order.
