Section 6–402 (“General penalty”) of Division I of this article applies in the county.

The Board may impose a fine not exceeding $2,000 or suspend a license or both for a violation that is cause for license suspension under the alcoholic beverages laws affecting the county. The penalties imposed under this section are: in addition to and do not limit other penalties for the same violation; and independent of any related court action based on the same violation.
