If a license is revoked because the license holder is convicted of violating this article or the provisions of the Tax – General Article that relate to the alcoholic beverage tax, a license may not be issued to the former license holder within 1 year after the revocation. A person other than the former license holder may not obtain a license for the same premises until after 6 months following the revocation.
