The Department shall approve training programs that an individual may complete to satisfy the domestic violence awareness training requirements of this title. A training program approved under subsection (a) of this section must: be offered in person and virtually; include guidance on: recognizing the signs of domestic violence; strategies to navigate conversations with clients who may be victims of domestic violence; how to listen to and communicate with victims of domestic violence; and connecting clients with resources and support groups for victims of domestic violence; and have a duration of at least 1 hour.
