### Subtitle 5. Thoroughbred Racing

#### Section 11-510

(a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, the Commission may not issue a license, or award racing days, for racing at a mile track.

(b) The Commission may issue a license and award racing days only to the Maryland Jockey Club, Inc., or a successor thoroughbred racetrack operator designated by the Maryland Stadium Authority under Sec. 10-646.1 of the Economic Development Article.
