An applicant for a peddler license shall pay to the clerk the applicable license fee. If the applicant is a foot peddler, the license fee is: in Baltimore City, $200; in St. Mary’s County, the amount set by the County Commissioners, by resolution; and in any other county, $100. If the applicant is a one–horse peddler, the license fee is: in Baltimore City, $250; in St. Mary’s County, the amount set by the County Commissioners, by resolution; and in any other county, $150. If the applicant is a two–horse peddler, the license fee is: in Baltimore City, $300; in St. Mary’s County, the amount set by the County Commissioners, by resolution; and in any other county, $200. If the applicant is a motor vehicle peddler, the license fee is: in Baltimore City, $500; in St. Mary’s County, the amount set by the County Commissioners, by resolution; and in any other county, $300; but in Garrett County, the license fee is $100 for a resident of Garrett County; and in Worcester County, the license fee is $100 for a resident of Worcester County who sells only ice cream. In Harford County, an applicant for a peddler license must have the written permission of the owner or lessee of the property where the applicant will do business. The written permission shall include: the name, address, and telephone number of the owner or lessee of the property; the name, permanent address, and telephone number of the applicant; a description of the goods to be sold by the applicant; and the times of day and the number of days per month that the applicant is allowed to do business on the property of the owner or lessee.
