### Subtitle 4. Maryland Uniform Athlete Agents Act

#### Section 4-406

(a) Subject to the hearing provisions of Sec. 4-407 of this subtitle, the Secretary may reprimand a licensee, suspend, or revoke a license for conduct that would have justified denial of a license under Sec. 4-405(b) of this subtitle.

(b)

  (1) Instead of or in addition to reprimanding the licensee or suspending or revoking a license under subsection (a) of this section, the Secretary may assess a civil penalty under Sec. 4-416 of this subtitle.

  (2) The Secretary shall pay any penalty collected under this subsection into the General Fund of the State.
