### Subtitle 4. Maryland Uniform Athlete Agents Act

#### Section 4-407

(a) Except as provided in Sec. 10-226 of the State Government Article, before the Secretary takes any final action under Sec. 4-405(b), Sec. 4-406, or Sec. 4-416 of this subtitle, the Secretary shall give the person against whom the action is contemplated an opportunity for a hearing before the Secretary.

(b) The Secretary shall give notice and hold the hearing in accordance with Title 10, Subtitle 2 of the State Government Article.

(c) The Secretary may administer oaths in a proceeding under this section.

(d) If, after due notice, the person against whom the action is contemplated does not appear, the Secretary may hear and determine the matter.
