In this section the following words have the meanings indicated. “Court” means the Supreme Court of Maryland, the Appellate Court of Maryland, a circuit court, the District Court of Maryland, and an orphans’ court. “Personal information” means an individual’s: Social Security number; or Driver’s license number. “Publicly post or display” means to intentionally make available to the public. Except as otherwise provided by law, on or after June 1, 2010, a court, to the extent practicable, may not publicly post or display on an Internet website maintained or paid for by the court an individual’s personal information.
