The purpose of this subtitle is to: Promote international commercial arbitration in this State; Enforce arbitration agreements by parties in international commercial transactions; Facilitate the prompt and efficient resolution by arbitration of disputes in international commercial agreements and transactions; and Promote uniformity in the law of international commercial arbitration in the United States.
