A violation of this subtitle is: An unfair or deceptive trade practice within the meaning of Title 13 of this article; and Subject to the enforcement and penalty provisions contained in Title 13 of this article. In addition to the remedies provided under Title 13 of this article, a facilitator who willfully fails to comply with any provision of this subtitle is liable to the consumer for: Actual and consequential damages; Statutory damages in the amount of $1,000; and Reasonable attorney’s fees and costs.
