## Title 18. Bills of Lading and Warehouse Receipts -- Criminal Provisions

### Subtitle 4. Penalties

#### Section 18-401

(a) Any person who violates any provision of Sec. 18-201(a) or Sec. 18-301(a) of this title is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $5,000.

(b) Any person who violates any provision of Sec.Sec. 18-201(b) through 18-205, Sec. 18-301(b), or Sec. 18-302 of this title is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or imprisonment not exceeding five years or both.

(c) Any person who violates any provision of Sec. 18-206, Sec. 18-207 or Sec.Sec. 18-303 through 18-306 of this title is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $1,000 or imprisonment not exceeding one year or both.
