### Subtitle 5. Violations of the Human Trafficking Law

#### Section 13-524

If an owner of real property used as the principal family residence is convicted under Sec. 3-1102 or Sec. 3-1103 of the Criminal Law Article or is convicted of an attempt or conspiracy to violate Sec. 3-1102 or Sec. 3-1103 of the Criminal Law Article and the owner files an appeal of the conviction, the court shall stay forfeiture proceedings under Sec. 13-503 of this subtitle against the real property during the pendency of the appeal.
