## Title 5. Controlled Dangerous Substances, Prescriptions, and Other Substances

### Subtitle 9. Criminal and Civil Liability

#### Section 5-906

In addition to a penalty imposed under this title, a court may require an individual to complete the educational program on acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) developed under Sec. 18-339 of the Health - General Article if:

(1) the individual pleads guilty or nolo contendere to, or is found guilty of, violating this title; and

(2) the judge believes the individual will attend and benefit from the program.
