The following units are in the Department: the Division of Correction; the Division of Parole and Probation; the Division of Pretrial Detention and Services; the Patuxent Institution; the Board of Review for Patuxent Institution; the Maryland Commission on Correctional Standards; the Correctional Training Commission; the Maryland Police Training and Standards Commission; the Maryland Parole Commission; the Emergency Number Systems Board; the Sundry Claims Board; the Inmate Grievance Office; and any other unit that by law is declared to be part of the Department.
