In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated. “Chief Executive Officer” means the Chief Executive Officer of Maryland Correctional Enterprises. “Contracting unit” means a unit of State government that is: authorized to contract for goods and services; or responsible for procurement of goods and services. “Management Council” means the Maryland Correctional Enterprises Management Council. “Political subdivision” means a county, municipal corporation, or special taxing district.
