## Title 8. State and Local Correctional System -- Generally

### Subtitle 1. Standards for Correctional Facilities

#### Section 8-101

(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.

(b) "Approved standards" means the standards described in Sec. 8-103(b) of this subtitle.

(c) "Commission" means the Maryland Commission on Correctional Standards.

(d) "Minimum mandatory standards" means the standards described in Sec. 8-103(a) of this subtitle.
