### Subtitle 4. Interstate Agreement on Detainers and Related Matters

#### Section 8-413

If an individual legally detained and confined in a correctional institution in this State, who, by reason of application of the Agreement, is delivered into temporary custody of a party state as provided in Sec. 8-407 of this subtitle (Article V of the Agreement) and subsequently escapes or attempts to escape from the temporary custody, the escape or attempt to escape shall be punishable under the laws of this State as if the individual had escaped or attempted to escape from a correctional institution in this State.
