There is a Coordinating Emerging Nanobiotechnology Research in Maryland Program. The purpose of the CENTR Maryland Program is to: support and promote advanced research in nanobiotechnology in the State; support nanobiotechnology research activities at postsecondary education institutions; and establish the State as a key location for nanobiotechnology research and industry. The Corporation shall foster public–private partnerships as feasible to carry out the purpose of the CENTR Maryland Program.
