The Bureau may establish a private, nonprofit corporation to assist the Bureau. Subject to the Corporations and Associations Article, the Bureau shall determine the powers and duties of the corporation. The Bureau may: set the number of members of the Board of Directors of the corporation; set a procedure to elect and remove directors; set the compensation of a director; and require the corporation to report periodically to the Bureau on its activities.
