Each county board may receive a donation of any: School land; School site; or Suitably located house adapted to school purposes. A county board may not improve any site or occupy any house donated under this section until it has acquired either a valid title to the property or a leasehold interest in it for a term longer than the probable useful life of the proposed improvement to the site or of the house donated.
