(a)
In this title the following words have the meanings indicated.
(b)
“Advertisement” means a communication that is intended to influence a person to enter into an obligation or sign a contract for services.
(c)
“Child care center” has the meaning stated in § 9.5–401 of this title.
(d)
“Family child care home” has the meaning stated in § 9.5–301 of this title.
(e)
“Large family child care home” has the meaning stated in § 9.5–301 of this title.
(f)
“License” means a license issued by the Department to operate a child care center.
(g)
“Registration” means a registration issued by the Department to a family child care home or a large family child care home.
