Subject to the hearing provisions of § 9-1017 of this subtitle, the Secretary may reprimand or revoke or suspend the certification of any water quality laboratory that: Fraudulently or deceptively obtains or attempts to obtain a certification; Fraudulently or deceptively uses a certification; Fails to meet substantially the standards and qualifications adopted by the Department under this subtitle; or Fails to comply with the rules and regulations adopted by the Department under this subtitle.
