This section may not be construed to invalidate any other provision of this title. Only a marriage between two individuals who are not otherwise prohibited from marrying is valid in this State.

Any marriage performed in this State that is prohibited by this section is void. An individual may not marry the individual’s: grandparent; parent; child; sibling; or grandchild. An individual who violates any provision of this subsection is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine of $1,500. An individual may not marry the individual’s: grandparent’s spouse; spouse’s grandparent; parent’s sibling; stepparent; spouse’s parent; spouse’s child; child’s spouse; grandchild’s spouse; spouse’s grandchild; or sibling’s child. An individual who violates any provision of this subsection is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine of $500.
