The membership of a Community Health Coalition established under § 13-1008(b) of this subtitle shall: Reflect the demographics of the county; and Include representatives of community-based groups, including minority, rural, and medically underserved populations, that, taken together, are familiar with all of the different communities and cultures in the county. The membership of a Community Health Coalition established under § 13–1008(b) of this subtitle may include: Representatives of: A local management board established under Title 8, Subtitle 3 of the Human Services Article; The local public school system; Local hospitals, clinics, physicians, and other health care providers; Local law enforcement; Local businesses; Local religious organizations; Local media; Institutions of higher education; and Hospitals and other entities located outside the county that could enhance the county’s tobacco use prevention and cessation efforts; and Any other person that the local health officer believes would help the county meet the tobacco use prevention and cessation goals and requirements established for the county under § 13–1007 of this subtitle.
