The Department shall: Encourage the use of electronic advance directives; Carry out appropriate educational and outreach efforts to increase public awareness of electronic advance directives; and Encourage the following persons and entities to engage in outreach efforts regarding electronic advance directives: The Maryland Department of Aging; County ombudspersons; Local health departments; Senior living facilities; Academic institutions; Religious organizations; Hospitals; and Other similar persons or entities.
