The purposes of this subtitle are to: Protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public, and specifically protect individuals who are the direct recipients of services regulated by this subtitle; Maintain standards in the delivery of naturopathic medical services to the public; Ensure that the health care provided by qualified naturopathic doctors is accessible and available to the residents of the State; and Provide a means of identifying qualified naturopathic doctors in the State.
