## Title 17. Professional Counselors and Therapists

### Subtitle 5. General Provisions; Disciplinary Actions

#### Section 17-501

To apply for trainee status, a license, or a certificate, an applicant shall:

(1) Submit an application on the form that the Board requires;

(2) Pay to the Board the application fee set by the Board; and

(3) Submit to a criminal history records check in accordance with Sec. 17-501.1 of this subtitle.
