Subject to subsection (b) of this section, a person may not sell or attempt to sell a hearing aid to any person by door–to–door solicitation. Subsection (a) of this section does not apply to a solicitation that is made: At the request of the solicited individual; or In response to an inquiry from the solicited individual.
