The Board shall license and issue the appropriate licensure to any applicant who meets the requirements of this title. The Board shall include on each license that it issues: The designation “licensed environmental health specialist”; The name of the license holder; The date of issue and serial number of the license; The Board seal; and The signature of the Board’s representative. The Board shall issue a new license to replace a lost, destroyed, or mutilated license if the license holder pays a fee that is set by the Board. The Board may not issue a license if the criminal history record information required under § 21–302 of this title has not been received.
