Except as otherwise provided by law, a licensed dentist may not practice dentistry: Under a name other than the name of the licensee; As a business entity; or Under the name of a business entity. A licensed dentist may practice, under the name of the licensee, as an employee of a health maintenance organization that is certified by the State Insurance Commissioner. A licensed dentist may practice, under the name of the licensee, as a member of a limited liability company.
