(a)
(1)
Except as provided in §§ 10–14A–03 and 10–14B–03 of the State Government Article, an individual shall be licensed by the Board before the individual may practice mortuary science in this State.
(2)
A mortician license issued under this title authorizes the licensee to practice mortuary science while the license is effective.
(b)
(1)
Except as provided in §§ 10–14A–03 and 10–14B–03 of the State Government Article, an individual shall be licensed by the Board before the individual may practice funeral direction in this State.
(2)
A funeral director license issued under this title authorizes the licensee to practice funeral direction while the license is effective.
