## Title 7. Morticians and Funeral Directors

### Subtitle 3

#### Section 7-302

(a)

  (1) Except as provided in Sec.Sec. 10-14A-03 and 10-14B-03 of the State Government Article, an individual shall be licensed by the Board before the individual may practice mortuary science in this State.

  (2) A mortician license issued under this title authorizes the licensee to practice mortuary science while the license is effective.

(b)

  (1) Except as provided in Sec.Sec. 10-14A-03 and 10-14B-03 of the State Government Article, an individual shall be licensed by the Board before the individual may practice funeral direction in this State.

  (2) A funeral director license issued under this title authorizes the licensee to practice funeral direction while the license is effective.
