Before burial or interment, a mortician shall affix to the long bones of the deceased human body a plastic or metal identification tag. After cremation, a licensee shall ensure that a metal or plastic identification tag is placed in the cremains container. The identification tag shall contain: The name of the decedent; The Social Security number of the decedent; The decedent’s date of birth; and The decedent’s date of death.
