Before the Board issues an initial funeral establishment license, the funeral establishment shall pay, in addition to all other applicable fees, a fee of $375 to be credited to the Fund. Each funeral establishment shall pay $375 per year into the Fund, until the Fund has accumulated a balance of $1,000,000. If, after the Fund has accumulated a balance of $1,000,000, the amount in the Fund falls below $1,000,000, the Board shall assess each funeral establishment an additional fee in an amount that will, over a reasonable period, return the Fund to a level of at least $1,000,000. The Board may not issue a renewal funeral establishment license if the funeral establishment has not paid the fee required under this subsection.
