The Department may: inspect a facility that offers continuing care; examine the facility’s books and records; and audit or observe a service provided under a continuing care agreement. If all or part of a facility is subject to licensure by the Maryland Department of Health, the Department shall coordinate its inspections under this section with the Maryland Department of Health to avoid duplication.
