#### Section 5-302

Except as otherwise provided in Sec.Sec. 5-305 and 5-306 of this subtitle, the minimum standard for the valuation of a policy or contract issued before the operative date of the Maryland Standard Nonforfeiture Law for Life Insurance is the minimum standard provided by former Article 48A, Sec. 83(2) of the Code in effect on September 30, 1997.
