## Title 12. Other Powers of Counties -- Generally

### Subtitle 9. Miscellaneous

#### Section 12-904

(a) This section applies only to Calvert County.

(b) Notwithstanding Sec. 6-108 of this article:

  (1) subject to the approval of the county commissioners, the State's Attorney may designate in writing the county attorney or an assistant county attorney to prosecute civil infractions; and

  (2) the county attorney or the assistant county attorney designated under this subsection may exercise the powers of the State's Attorney in connection with a civil infraction.
