### Subtitle 4. Annexation

#### Section 4-402

An annexation proposal may be initiated by: 

(1) the legislative body of the municipality as provided in Sec. 4-403 of this subtitle; or

(2) a petition in accordance with Sec. 4-404 of this subtitle.
