This section applies only: to commissioners appointed from Montgomery County; and from the date of a commissioner’s appointment until the end of the commissioner’s tenure on the Commission. A commissioner may not: solicit or accept from any person with business before the Commission a financial contribution for any political candidate, political organization, or ballot question; or solicit from any person with business before the Commission an endorsement of or opposition to a political candidate.
