In this section, “alcohol production” means an activity that is: carried out by a license holder, as defined in § 1–101 of the Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis Article; and related to the manufacture, packaging, storage, promotion, or sale of alcoholic beverages. “Alcohol production” includes the use of an area to: provide tastings of alcoholic beverages; or accommodate the license holder’s customers. A local jurisdiction may adopt the definition of “alcohol production” as defined in this section by local ordinance, resolution, law, or rule.
