## Title 4. Fish and Fisheries

### Subtitle 2. Organization and Authority of Department Pertaining to Fish and Fisheries -- in General

#### Section 4-215.3

(a) The General Assembly finds that robust fishing resources are critical to the economy of the State and vital to a treasured heritage and way of life.

(b) The General Assembly intends that the Department shall manage the fisheries under Sec. 4-215 of this subtitle to optimize the yield of fishery resources for the benefit of all citizens of the State.
