### Subtitle 7. Fire Hazards; Prevention and Abatement

#### Section 5-705

Any person who causes any fire by violating Sec. 5-704(a) or (b) or Sec. 5-712 of this subtitle is liable to the State and county where the fire occurs in an action for debt to the full amount of all expenses incurred by the State or county in fighting and extinguishing the fire.
