## Title 2. Department of State Police

### Subtitle 3. Powers and Duties of Department

#### Section 2-309

In any report issued under Sec. 2-308 of this subtitle, the Department may include recommendations to the Governor, the Secretary of Public Safety and Correctional Services, and, subject to Sec. 2-1257 of the State Government Article, the General Assembly for legislation that the report indicates is necessary or desirable to promote traffic safety or reduce crime or otherwise to ensure proper law enforcement.
