## Title 5. Firearms

### Subtitle 2. Rifles and Shotguns

#### Section 5-201

(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.

(b) "Dealer's license" means a federal firearms license.

(c) "Immediate family member" means a spouse, a parent, a stepparent, a grandparent, a stepgrandparent, an aunt, an uncle, a sibling, a stepsibling, a child, a stepchild, a grandchild, a stepgrandchild, a niece, or a nephew, as related by blood or marriage.

(d) "Licensee" means a person who holds a dealer's license.

(e) "NICS Index" has the meaning stated in Sec. 5-133.2 of this title.

(f) "Rifle" has the meaning stated in Sec. 4-201 of the Criminal Law Article.

(g) "Short-barreled rifle" has the meaning stated in Sec. 4-201 of the Criminal Law Article.

(h) "Short-barreled shotgun" has the meaning stated in Sec. 4-201 of the Criminal Law Article.

(i) "Shotgun" has the meaning stated in Sec. 4-201 of the Criminal Law Article.
