In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated. “License” means a license, permit, certification, registration, or other legal authorization required for engaging in an occupation or a profession. “Licensing authority” means an agency of the State that issues a license. “Member of the Foreign Service” means an individual who is employed in the Foreign Service of the United States.
