<section article="gsp" article_name="State Personnel and Pensions" number="15-101" title_number="15" title_name="Prohibited Acts and Penalties" subtitle_number="1" subtitle_name="Prohibited Acts"> <text>A person may not impersonate another in an examination held under this Division I.</text> </section> <section article="gsp" article_name="State Personnel and Pensions" number="15-102" title_number="15" title_name="Prohibited Acts and Penalties" subtitle_number="1" subtitle_name="Prohibited Acts"> <text>A person may not:</text> <level label="1"> <text>willfully deceive another about the right to take an examination under this Division I; or</text> </level> <level label="2"> <text>willfully interfere with the right of an individual to take an examination under this Division I.</text> </level> </section> <section article="gsp" article_name="State Personnel and Pensions" number="15-103" title_number="15" title_name="Prohibited Acts and Penalties" subtitle_number="1" subtitle_name="Prohibited Acts"> <text>A person may not willfully falsify:</text> <level label="1"> <text>an answer on an examination held under this Division I;</text> </level> <level label="2"> <text>a grade or mark on an examination held under this Division I;</text> </level> <level label="3"> <text>a report on the results of an examination held under this Division I; or</text> </level> <level label="4"> <text>a report on the standing of an individual examined under this Division I.</text> </level> </section> <section article="gsp" article_name="State Personnel and Pensions" number="15-104" title_number="15" title_name="Prohibited Acts and Penalties" subtitle_number="1" subtitle_name="Prohibited Acts"> <text>An applicant for employment may not act deceptively in order to improve the applicant's chances for appointment.</text> </section> <section article="gsp" article_name="State Personnel and Pensions" number="15-105" title_number="15" title_name="Prohibited Acts and Penalties" subtitle_number="1" subtitle_name="Prohibited Acts"> <text>A person may not willfully give to an individual any information about a competitive examination under this article that is not generally available to all competitors for the examination in order to improve or to harm the individual's rating for appointment.</text> </section> <section article="gsp" article_name="State Personnel and Pensions" number="15-106" title_number="15" title_name="Prohibited Acts and Penalties" subtitle_number="1" subtitle_name="Prohibited Acts"> <text>A person may not use or promise to use the person's influence or official authority to secure an appointment or an opportunity for an appointment to a position in the skilled service or professional service in exchange or as a reward for personal service or political service.</text> </section> <section article="gsp" article_name="State Personnel and Pensions" number="15-107" title_number="15" title_name="Prohibited Acts and Penalties" subtitle_number="1" subtitle_name="Prohibited Acts"> <text>An employee or public official of this State may not use a threat or coercion to induce or attempt to induce an employee in the skilled service or professional service:</text> <level label="1"> <text>to resign;</text> </level> <level label="2"> <text>to take a leave of absence; or</text> </level> <level label="3"> <text>to waive a right granted by this Division I.</text> </level> </section> <section article="gsp" article_name="State Personnel and Pensions" number="15-108" title_number="15" title_name="Prohibited Acts and Penalties" subtitle_number="1" subtitle_name="Prohibited Acts"> <text>A person may not willfully assist another to commit an act prohibited by this subtitle.</text> </section> <section article="gsp" article_name="State Personnel and Pensions" number="15-201" title_number="15" title_name="Prohibited Acts and Penalties" subtitle_number="2" subtitle_name="Criminal Penalties"> <text>Any person who violates Subtitle 1 of this title or any regulation adopted under it is guilty of a misdemeanor and, on conviction, is subject to a fine not exceeding $3,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 6 months or both.</text> </section>
